WEEK 5 - Whiskers Keep On Rollin’ , Donations Keep On Turnin’

Mr Geoduck - Week 5
Mr. Geoduck

Do you love 826 Seattle? Do you think kids are the future? Do you understand the importance of writing and learning? Do you believe in do-goodery?

If you do, and you want to support 826 Seattle but don't know any of the mustache farmers listed below, donate to Mr. Geoduck's mustache!

Mr. Geoduck is the cantankerous publishing magnate who owns Justa Geoduck Publishing Co. and leads school kids on the wild Mr. Geoduck Publishing Fieldtrip. He is grumpy and ill tempered, but his heart is in the right place. A $20 donation sure would lift his spirts!

The penultimate mustache weigh-in of 2007 had a robust turnout! Mustaches and mustache farmers were everywhere, and over $300 in cash and check donations was added to the pot. As for 'stache recognition, Jon Allred's impressive, sweeping-up-at-the-edges mustache won "Best Mustache So Far" and he took home a bottle of neutral-colored mustache wax.

We have only one more weigh-in! We have passed $7,500, but we want $15,000! Can we do it? Yes!

Visitors to our fair blog, have you donated to a mustache yet? Your time is growing short (unlike the hairs on our farmers' faces) - best pick a mustache you like now, because before you know it, it'll be gone. To those who have donated to us thus far, THANK YOU! We are so grateful for your generosity. Tell all your friends, share the mustache love, and help us reach our goal!

Happy hairs!
